Made in Finland for tough outdoor use, the Kotkansiipi cycle shelter keeps up to five bikes dry and easy to access. The wing‑shaped polycarbonate roof directs rain and meltwater away from the entry side, so riders can park and lock their bikes without drips on chains or saddles. A long, sled‑style base keeps the structure steady in wind and snow.
The frame is hot‑dip galvanised steel for long‑term corrosion resistance, a grey powder‑coated finish is available on request. The roof is UV‑protected multiwall polycarbonate sheet that lets daylight pass while filtering harmful UV. Installation is simple with two options: surface‑anchored to a concrete slab or in‑ground with a 100 mm shallow embed.

Kotkansiipi is a purpose‑built cycle shelter that solves a daily problem: how to keep bikes dry and accessible without taking over valuable yard space. Its aerodynamic, wing‑shaped canopy channels rain and snowmelt away from the approach side.
Designed and made in Finland, Kotkansiipi is tuned for real‑world seasons. The freestanding sled‑style legs distribute loads evenly and give the shelter a stable stance on finished surfaces. The open sides allow air to move through, helping bikes dry after a ride and preventing drifting snow from packing inside. At 2080 mm wide and 2000 mm deep, the footprint is compact enough for tight courtyards yet tall enough to feel open and to clear typical door and window lines.
The structural frame is hot‑dip galvanised steel. Immersion galvanising coats the inside and outside of the steel with zinc, forming a tough, sacrificial barrier against corrosion. In daily use it shrugs off salt splash, knocks from handlebars and the wear that comes with public environments.
The canopy is a UV‑protected multiwall polycarbonate sheet. Multiwall polycarbonate is impact‑resistant and lightweight, which eases handling on site. It admits daylight so the area under the shelter stays bright, improving passive security and user comfort, while the UV treatment helps protect bicycle paintwork and grips from fading. The wing‑shaped profile directs water rearwards and away from the entry edge to keep the approach drier.
