If your storage area is busy, the shelving has to take constant use: boxes moved in and out, spare parts picked every day, and the occasional bump from handling equipment. The Dexion HI280 standard shelving starter bay is designed for exactly that kind of work. It is a tough, professional boltless shelving bay for manual picking and organised storage. It combines a fully galvanised steel construction with a boltless, tool-free assembly method, giving you a durable, tidy and easy-to-expand warehouse shelving solution for industrial and professional storage.

The galvanised (zinc-coated) surface offers strong corrosion resistance and is well suited to demanding warehouse and workshop conditions. Because the shelving is supplied as a complete starter bay, you can build a single stand-alone bay or use it as the first section in a longer run, and then extend the line later with a HI280 extension bay (add-on bay).

Dexion HI280 boltless shelving that’s built to last

The shelving bay is made in Germany and the technical quality is first class. Every main component is galvanised, which helps the shelving keep its appearance and usability even when it is used hard over many years. Just as importantly in daily operations, the shelf levels are designed to withstand surface wear well.

Tool-free assembly and secure shelf connection

HI280 is assembled without screws, nuts or special tools. The shelf levels connect firmly into the slots in the uprights. This creates a stable structure that is quick to erect and easy to adjust later if your stored items change size or your picking process develops.

Fully galvanised shelving for slightly humid areas

Because the system is fully galvanised, it is an excellent option for areas where there may be a little moisture: for example, unheated storage spaces, loading areas that see seasonal humidity, or workshops where cleaning routines introduce occasional dampness. If the environment is a wet room or consistently very humid, we recommend stainless steel shelving instead.
