30-minute structural fire protection for paper

The HX 120–200 range provides 30-minute structural fire protection for paper in accordance with DIN 4102. In practice, that gives important paper records extra protection during the early stage of a fire, when every minute matters. For many organisations, that extra time can make a real difference. Purchase agreements, personnel files, financial papers, patient administration documents, exam records and other business-critical papers are often difficult or impossible to recreate quickly once lost.

Fire protection is only one part of secure storage. The HX model is also designed to make casual theft and unauthorised access more difficult. Each cabinet is fitted with a safe-approved key lock in accordance with EN 1300 and supplied with two keys.

Two anchoring holes in the base allow the fire-resistant cabinet to be bolted to the floor. Fixing bolts are not included, which allows the installer to choose the correct fixing method for the floor material on site.

Durable steel construction for daily use

A secure cabinet still needs to work well in normal use. HX 120–200 models are made of steel and finished in light grey with a wear-resistant surface treatment that stands up to regular opening, loading and cleaning. The restrained appearance also suits a wide range of interiors, from administration rooms and archives to healthcare back offices and school facilities.

The structure meets class 1C and SFS 4399 requirements. Combined with the steel body, this gives the cabinet range the robust feel users expect from professional storage equipment. • HX 120 is a single-door fire-resistant cabinet with 3 shelf levels. External dimensions are 670 x 500 x 1200 mm (W x D x H), internal dimensions 601 x 400 x 1058 mm, and capacity approximately 254 litres. It accommodates roughly 24 binders with 80 mm spines.
• HX 160 is a taller single-door model with 5 shelf levels. External dimensions are 670 x 500 x 1950 mm, internal dimensions 601 x 400 x 1808 mm, and capacity approximately 434 litres. It holds about 40 binders with 80 mm spines.
• HX 200 is a two-door fire-resistant cabinet with 5 shelf levels and a much larger storage area. External dimensions are 1200 x 500 x 1950 mm, internal dimensions 1131 x 400 x 1808 mm, and capacity approximately 817 litres. It fits around 70 binders with 80 mm spines.
