FAW6 letter and parcel scale gives you a quick, repeatable check before the label goes on. It works as a letter scale for envelopes and as a parcel scale for small cartons. It is a compact tabletop scale designed for dry conditions and daily use at the packing bench, post room or goods-in desk.

The FAW6 is built for practical workspaces where equipment needs to be simple and dependable. The stainless-steel weighing platform is smooth and easy to wipe down, helping you keep the scale tidy during the day. With its compact footprint, it fits on a small bench without taking space away from packing materials, scanners or paperwork.

6 kg capacity with 1 g readability

This postal scale weighs up to 6 kg with 1 g resolution. That capacity covers everyday items such as padded envelopes, small cartons, spare parts shipments and sample packages.

Stainless-steel weighing platform

The 145 x 145 mm platform supports common parcel shapes without rocking. Envelopes, small boxes and polybags sit steadily on the stainless-steel surface, making it easier to take a quick reading and move on to the next item. The size is also practical for small parts trays when you use the quick tare function to weigh only the contents.

Clear, backlit LCD display for fast readings

The large LCD screen is designed for quick checks, with big digits and backlight for visibility. When you are weighing items at a packing table, service counter or by a loading door, a clear display saves time and reduces reading mistakes.

Simple controls

Everyday weighing should not require a manual. The FAW6 keeps the controls straightforward: ON/OFF, Zero and quick Tare. Zero is used to reset the display back to 0.00 when the platform is empty. Tare is used when you want to weigh the contents of a container rather than the container itself, for example when you place parts in a tray or use a box as a holder while you count items.

Unit selection for mixed shipping requirements

Many workplaces handle both domestic and international shipments. With FAW6 you can switch between g, kg, lb and oz at the press of a button, so you can work in the unit that matches your shipping documentation or customer requirements without doing manual conversions. It is also useful when you receive weight information from different sources and want to compare like for like.

Battery powered for flexible placement

The scale runs on six AA batteries, which are included, so it is ready to use straight out of the box. Battery power also makes it easier to place the scale where it is needed today: at the packing station, in a spare parts store, or at a temporary goods-in point. If you prefer a permanent setup, an optional mains power adaptor is available and can be ordered separately.

Optional weighing bowl

When you weigh loose parts, fasteners, samples or small components, a bowl helps keep the worktop clean and the parts together. A plastic weighing bowl is available as an accessory. It is also a practical way to protect the weighing platform from scratches when you regularly handle sharp-edged items. The mains adaptor and the plastic bowl are ordered separately as optional accessories.
