When a pallet leaves the warehouse, the strap is only as reliable as the joint. This 13 mm metal strapping seal is a crimp seal that locks plastic strapping (PP or PET) and composite strapping firmly in place after tensioning. As a 13 mm strapping seal, it is made to match 13 mm strap width and deliver a consistent closure in daily packing work.
Thread both strap ends through the seal after you have tensioned the strap to the required tightness. Crimp the seal with a suitable hand tool or battery tool so the internal ribs clamp down on the strapping.

The seal is closed by crimping with a compatible manual or battery-powered sealing tool. Once sealed, the internal ribs (serrations) press into the strap surface and help stop the strap ends from sliding back. This product is intended for 13 mm wide strapping used to secure loads in packaging and logistics. In many operations, strapping is done with either a tensioner and a separate sealer, or a combination tool that tensions and seals. Battery tools are often used in higher-volume environments or in mobile loading areas where speed matters.
The seal is made from galvanised steel. The zinc coating is there for corrosion protection in typical storage and shipping conditions, including situations where goods are stored outdoors temporarily. Rounded edges are another small detail with real value. They help reduce unnecessary abrasion on the strapping during handling and can make the seals more comfortable to work with when you are closing a lot of straps per shift.
