The Mitsubishi AXiA ES electric pallet stacker is a proven choice when you want one truck to take care of day‑to‑day lifting and short shuttle moves. In the industry this format is also called a pedestrian stacker or walkie stacker. Manufactured in Finland for Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, AXiA ES combines a compact, low‑profile chassis with rock‑solid stability.

Compact chassis, big storage gains

Space is expensive, and wasted aisle width is paid for twice: once in rent and again in lost capacity. AXiA ES helps you win it back. Its exceptionally short chassis and tight turning circle allow safe, quick manoeuvres in narrow aisles. That means you can tighten layouts or add locations without compromising throughput.

Sealed for reliability

Warehouses are not cleanrooms. Dust on the floor, water spray near doors, condensation in the morning. AXiA ES is built for this reality. The truck’s sealed protective chassis meets IP54, keeping dirt and moisture away from critical electrics, while the ErgoSteer tiller head carries an IP65 rating. Together they support dependable operation indoors and outdoors, reduce unplanned stops and minimise the time technicians spend hunting intermittent faults caused by contaminants.

Confident lifting up to 5400 mm

Choose mast configurations to match your racking strategy. Duplex masts cover common low heights while triplex masts reach up to 5400 mm. A low centre of gravity gives high residual capacity and calm behaviour at height. Linked castor wheels smooth out rough patches in concrete and help to keep loads composed when the operator changes direction. Optional side stabilisers are available for the heaviest work at the top beam.

Ergonomics

Good ergonomics are about confidence and consistency. The ErgoSteer tiller puts mirrored controls within natural reach for left‑handed and right‑handed use, so operators don’t have to over‑reach or twist. Sensitive Drive System (SDS) adapts performance to the steer angle and input, smoothing acceleration and cornering so the truck behaves the same for every user. Two operating profiles:

• ECO for new operators and precise manoeuvres,
• PRO for experienced drivers and maximum productivity.

Power options

AXiA ES runs on a proven 24 V platform. If your duty cycle is light to medium and you already service lead‑acid batteries, that choice remains cost‑effective and familiar. For multi‑shift or high‑availability operations, the lithium‑ion (Li‑ion) option raises performance and simplifies life in the battery room. Li‑ion systems deliver higher energy efficiency than lead‑acid and they support opportunity charging.

Cold store capability

Standard AXiA ES models work reliably down to -10 °C for chilled environments. For deeper‑freeze applications, an optional cold store package is available for sub‑zero operation. That lets you run one platform across ambient, chilled and cold areas, which simplifies training and spare parts while protecting uptime. When the truck leaves the freezer for ambient conditions, the sealed design helps to prevent moisture from reaching electrics, keeping behaviour consistent across temperature transitions.
