When the load is heavy but the distance is short, machinery skates, also called machine skates or load moving skates are the quickest way to move safely. A steerable skate with a drawbar carries the load and lets you guide it through tight turns.
For lighter items, gravity roller conveyors, also known as roller tracks create a rolling work surface between workstations. Packages travel from one line to another under a gentle push or slight incline, which makes them ideal for packing benches, assembly cells and e‑commerce dispatch areas.
Reducing manual lifts is the fastest way to cut strain injuries. Skates turn multi‑tonne machines into easy, low‑effort transfers, and roller conveyors bring items within reach without carrying. The result is shorter lead times and safer, more consistent handling across shifts.
