When pallet stock starts to spread across the floor, you lose time on every pick. This Dexion P90 Euro pallet racking starter bay is a straightforward way to bring structure back: one stable base section designed for everyday warehouse and production use, with clear access for forklift handling.
The starter bay is configured for 10 EUR pallet positions and comes with two upright frames plus eight pallet rack beams supplied with safety locks. Each pallet position is rated for 1000 kg, and the maximum load capacity per beam level (pair of beams) is 2930 kg, so you can store heavier palletised goods with confidence.
Upright frame elements are delivered as parts, pre‑assembled frames are also available at extra cost. If you want support with layout planning, contact our sales team at myynti@thtt.fi or call +358 2 431 0400 on weekdays 8:00–16:00.

When every pallet has a defined place, forklifts travel the same safe routes, stock stays visible, and loading bays don’t turn into temporary storage. This Dexion P90 Euro pallet racking starter bay (base section) gives you that foundation in one practical module.
Designed for EUR pallets and built for daily handling, the bay suits warehouses, production areas and logistics operations where pallets are moved frequently. Because this is a starter bay, it also works as the first building block of a longer pallet racking run: once the base is in place, capacity can be increased later by adding compatible extension bays when your storage needs grow.
The total number of pallet positions is based on the bay layout and the number of storage levels. With a bay width of 1850 mm, Euro pallets are commonly stored as two pallets per level. The starter bay includes eight beams, which creates four adjustable beam levels. Many warehouses also use the floor as the lowest storage level in the bay, which gives five pallet levels in total and a practical capacity of ten EUR pallet positions.
If you prefer to keep the floor completely clear for cleaning, traffic lanes or special pallets, you can also plan the bay so that all pallet positions are on beam levels only. In that case, choose beam heights based on your pallet heights and your handling equipment, and leave enough free space for safe placement and retrieval.
This bay is part of the Dexion P90 pallet racking system. A consistent beam profile and upright connection makes the system easy to configure, because beam levels can be positioned to match your pallet heights and handling routines. If your stock changes during the year the bay can be adjusted later by repositioning beams and by adding compatible modules.
When you build a longer racking line, the starter bay is always the first module. It includes two end frames, so it can stand as a complete bay on its own. An extension bay normally adds capacity by sharing one upright frame with the previous bay. This is a practical way to grow storage step by step: you start with one stable bay and extend when required, without redesigning the whole warehouse.
A 5000 mm high bay is a good choice when you want to take advantage of vertical space without building a full high-bay warehouse. Typical use cases include:
Because the bay is designed for forklift access, it suits operations where pallets are handled with counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks or other warehouse trucks.
This pallet racking starter bay includes the core structural parts needed to build one complete bay:
The upright frame elements include the uprights, bracing (horizontal and diagonal), base plates, washers and fixing hardware. The beams are delivered with their locking pins/safety locks to help keep the beam connection secured during use. The result is a stable bay that stays square and reliable even in busy operations.
The rack is specified for 10 EUR pallet positions. Each pallet position is rated for 1000 kg, which makes the bay suitable for heavy palletised stock such as components, packed goods, raw materials and maintenance supplies. For load planning, note the maximum load capacity per beam level (pair of beams): 2930 kg.
The 1850 mm bay width is commonly used for storing two Euro pallets per level side by side, giving a compact but workable footprint. The 1050 mm depth is designed for pallet storage while keeping the rack line tight, which helps you make better use of floor area in narrow warehouses and production zones.
The upright frame elements are delivered as parts. This keeps transport efficient and makes it easier to bring the system into facilities with restricted access. If you prefer, pre‑assembled frames are also available at extra cost.
