Pallet stackers (pedestrian stacker) are the most common lift trucks in many warehouses and production areas. Compact and easy to control, a walk‑behind pedestrian stacker lets your team stack pallets, put goods away on racking and move loads in narrow aisles without a full‑size forklift. The result is faster flow, better space utilisation and fewer manual lifts.
Choose from manual, semi‑electric or fully electric pallet stackers. Electric pallet stackers with Li‑ion (LiFePO4) batteries are maintenance‑free and accept short, frequent opportunity charging; lead‑acid options are available for steady shift work. Manual and semi‑electric stackers are ideal for light, occasional handling.
We supply models with and without drive motors, a wide range of lift heights and capacities, plus options such as straddle (wide‑gauge) legs for closed or one‑way pallets. Tell us your load, target lift height, aisle width and duty cycle — we’ll match the right machine to your site.

A pallet stacker is a practical, budget‑friendly way to handle pallets where space is tight and lift heights vary. Compared with a counterbalance forklift, a stacker truck is narrower, turns in smaller spaces and usually costs less to buy and maintain. That’s why pallet stackers are a first choice for stores, workshops and small to mid‑size warehouses, and a valuable supplement to larger fleets in production plants and distribution centres.
Electric pallet stackers reduce strain and speed up repeat tasks. Li‑ion (lithium‑ion) batteries are maintenance‑free and tolerate frequent short top‑ups without damage. They also hold charge well during downtime. Traditional lead‑acid batteries still suit predictable, longer shifts but require more careful charging to avoid deep discharge.
For light duties or occasional lifts, a manual pallet stacker or a semi‑electric pallet stacker can be a smart choice. On worn or dirty floors, however, pushing a loaded manual stacker is hard work. If you stack daily or above waist height, investing in a pedestrian, powered drive model will usually pay back in saved time and reduced strain.
Entry‑level electric models such as the ESA121 pallet stacker cover everyday stacking, shelving and pallet moves in retail and industry. A walk‑behind electric pallet stacker ESA rated around 1600 kg is well suited to regular put‑away, picking and transfers. For higher lifts, the Rocla electric pallet stacker RSE12D2500 handles up to about 1200 kg to 2500 mm. Variants with different capacities and lift heights are available.
The compact chassis lets you run narrower aisles and make better use of floor space. Ergonomic tiller steering keeps hands and back in neutral positions and cuts manual lifting. With configurations from manual to fully electric, and with straddle (wide‑gauge) legs for closed pallets, you can tailor the truck to your loads and layout.
A pallet stacker, also called a stacker truck or pedestrian stacker, is a compact lift truck for lifting, stacking and moving palletised loads.
Typical jobs include stacking, put‑away, order picking and short transfers of pallets. A stacker can also serve as a temporary adjustable work surface.
Compared with a counterbalance forklift, a pallet stacker is smaller, easier to manoeuvre in tight aisles and focused on medium and light loads.
Capacities typically range from a few hundred kilograms to around 1600 kg, with lift heights from low shelving to several metres depending on the model.
Stackers are designed primarily for level indoor floors. Limited outdoor use may be possible on smooth surfaces; choose larger or specialised wheels if required.
