When a longspan bay is used for picking and daily handling, the shelf surface matters. This grey, powder-coated steel shelf panel is made for Dexion longspan shelving (light-duty beam shelving) and gives you a solid, easy-to-clean deck for cartons, totes and storage bins.
The panel follows the same sizing as Dexion S90 small parts shelving steel shelves, so you can keep a consistent, modular storage setup across different shelving areas. It’s a simple way to standardise shelf levels when you expand or reconfigure a store.
Select the right size by matching your bay depth and beam/span length. Depth options: 500 mm or 600 mm. Length options: 900 / 1000 / 1280 mm. Material: steel with grey powder coating (RAL 7037).

This steel shelf panel gives Dexion longspan shelving a solid shelf surface that stays tidy, supports day-to-day handling and wipes clean without fuss. The panel is made from steel and finished with a grey powder coat (RAL 7037). That finish helps the shelf look consistent from level to level, even when cartons are dragged across it or bins are pushed back and forth. It also makes cleaning straightforward: dust, cardboard fibres and fingerprints can be wiped away quickly, which is useful in picking areas and maintenance stores where shelves double as working surfaces.
This longspan shelving shelf panel uses the same shelf dimensions as Dexion S90 small parts shelving. In mixed storage areas, that compatibility is handy. You might run longspan bays for bulkier stock and S90 shelving for fast-moving parts, service kits or consumables. When the shelf format matches, extensions and changes are easier to plan, and you don’t end up with “odd” shelf sizes that complicate reorganisation.
It also supports standardisation: when you keep to one shelf size family, it’s easier to move bins and cartons between locations, and easier for the team to learn where different box sizes belong.
