Also known as a forklift tipping skip or self‑dumping hopper, the container travels on the forks, collects waste directly at the point of generation and empties by automatic tipping against the receiving container’s edge.
The large 1,100 litre volume reduces the number of forklift movements and bin changeovers. A rated load of 2,000 kg provides a wide safety margin for oversized, but mainly dry and coarse fractions. Operators can cast cardboard, plastic wrap, timber ends or light metal offcuts straight into the container during the job instead of piling them on pallets for later. In day‑to‑day work this simple change adds up to smoother flow, shorter changeovers and a safer, tidier shop floor.
Ekonomy 1100 is engineered for bulky, mainly dry fractions: large boxes, banding, film, wood blocks and similar materials that take space but don’t flow like liquids. The container volume is 1,100 litres and the rated load is 2,000 kg. That rating provides a generous margin for mixed loads and occasional denser items while keeping the structure light enough for everyday positioning with a standard counterbalance truck. As with any tipping skip, do not exceed your forklift’s residual capacity at the required lift height and keep the load evenly distributed in the body.
This self‑tipping skip is designed to be predictable and repeatable. The driver approaches the receiver, sets the front lip of the skip against the edge and continues to push until the pressure plate trips. The body rotates forward, releases the contents, then resets as the truck reverses. Because the action is purely mechanical, there are no cables to snag or hydraulic lines to couple. The operator stays seated throughout the dump, which is both faster and safer in tight aisles or busy loading zones.
