Universal 800 mm is a wide-angle convex traffic mirror and outdoor safety mirror built for busy yards, loading bays and factory roads. The clear acrylic mirror face delivers a bright image without the shatter risk of glass, while the polypropylene frame (PP) is corrosion-free and UV-stabilised for permanent outdoor use. Low weight makes handling safer and faster at height, yet the assembly stands up to wind and vibration in industrial sites.
Standard delivery includes a 76 mm pole clamp for post mounting. A wall bracket and a 60 mm pole clamp are available as accessories for alternative fixing points. Choose the large 800 mm diameter when you need more viewing distance at wide junctions or around pillars and racking.

The mirror face is made from optical-grade acrylic that produces a crisp, bright image. Compared to glass, acrylic is significantly lighter and resists impact without shattering, an important advantage in busy sites where knocks can happen. The geometry of a wide-angle mirror helps you see around corners and down intersecting aisles, cutting response times and reducing near-misses.
The frame is injection-moulded from polypropylene (PP), a weather-resistant plastic that does not rust and is UV-stabilised to resist colour fade. Unlike painted metal, PP tolerates road salt, moisture and temperature swings without corrosion. The smooth housing is easy to keep clean and does not require periodic repainting.
Acrylic paired with a PP frame can be up to 45% lighter than comparable glass-and-metal constructions. The lower mass makes installation faster, reduces manual handling risk and places less stress on posts, brackets and walls. Despite the low weight, the design meets typical industrial expectations for wind and vibration resistance when installed to guidance.
