The Universal convex traffic mirror combines a large 600 mm UV‑stabilised acrylic face with a weather‑resistant polypropylene (PP) frame. You get a clear, shatter‑safe image and dependable performance outdoors in yards, loading bays and parking garages. Thanks to its low weight the unit is easy to handle, faster to mount and gentler on the pole or wall.
Supplied as standard with a 76 mm post bracket for pole mounting. A 60 mm wall/pipe bracket is available as an accessory when you need to fix the mirror to building fabric or smaller columns. The convex profile opens up the field of view to help remove blind spots at forklift intersections and tight corners.

Blind corners and tight approaches are where minor scrapes become costly downtime. The Universal convex traffic mirror gives drivers and pedestrians the wider angle they need to see what’s coming without creeping into harm’s way. Its 600 mm UV‑stabilised acrylic face delivers a bright, undistorted image, while the impact‑resistant polypropylene frame stands up to rain, frost and UV for reliable outdoor use year after year.
A convex mirror expands the field of view so that forklift operators, van drivers and site staff can check cross‑traffic with a single glance. Placed at junctions, bay exits or ramp turns, it helps remove blind spots and reduces near‑misses that otherwise go unreported. Compared with flat glass, the acrylic convex mirror offers a safer, shatter‑resistant surface and weighs less, so it is easier to position at the correct height and angle.
The mirror area is moulded from UV‑stabilised acrylic. Acrylic provides high optical clarity for quick identification of people, pallets and vehicles, yet it does not splinter like glass if struck. In daily use, that means fewer service calls and a lower risk profile around the mirror itself. The surface is easy to wipe clean, so rain spots and dust can be removed without specialist products.
The frame is injection‑moulded from impact‑resistant polypropylene (PP) that does not rust and does not fade quickly under UV exposure. PP shrugs off the typical knocks found around industrial doorways and parking structures, and it resists common road grime and salts. The material choice makes the assembly suitable for permanent outdoor installation in Northern climates as well as covered loading areas.
By combining an acrylic face with a PP frame, the Universal is up to 45 % lighter than an equivalent glass/metal mirror. Despite the lightness, the mirror assembly is robust: wind and vibration performance meets typical industrial expectations when mounted correctly, so the image remains steady and readable for drivers.
