Adjustable warehouse shelving uses steel uprights and beams to create wide, open levels for hand‑loaded goods. Choose heights of 2000, 2500 or 3000 mm and shelf depths from 400 to 1000 mm to match your footprint. Beam lengths from 900 to 2400 mm let you span bulky cartons without stealing aisle space. A single bay supports up to 2900 kg and each beam level provides at least 190 kg per shelf metre.
Deck the beams with 300 mm steel shelf panels, drop in your own plywood, or keep levels open. For tyre storage, the 400 mm depth lets car tyres rest directly on the beams turning the same warehouse shelving into practical tyre racking. As needs change, you can swap beam lengths, add or remove steel panels and move levels, without rebuilding the run.

This warehouse shelving (also known as longspan shelving or wide span shelving) is a proven solution for workshops and stores where goods are handled by hand. The adjustable shelving design provides generous clear openings so odd‑sized items, bins and cartons are easy to place and pick. With steel uprights and horizontal beams, you gain the strength of racking with the visibility of shelving.
Select bay heights of 2000, 2500 or 3000 mm. Choose shelf depths of 400, 500, 600, 800 or 1000 mm to suit product size and walkways. Beam lengths from 900 to 2400 mm help you balance capacity with aisle efficiency. A bay supports up to 2900 kg, and each beam level provides a minimum of 190 kg per shelf metre.
Every operation is different, so the beam levels accept multiple deck types. Fit 300 mm steel shelf panels for a durable, wipe‑clean surface, cover the level fully or partially, or cut plywood boards to size and drop them into the beam step to create continuous decking. Leaving levels open works well when airflow matters or when round items need cradling by the beams.
When you need seasonal or service‑bay tyre storage, the 400 mm shelf depth allows passenger car tyres to rest directly on the beams. The open beam level keeps pairs visible and easy to lift, speeding handling in garages, tyre shops and fleet depots. If plans change, add steel shelf panels or plywood and the same warehouse shelving works for cartons again.
