The selection of an archive cabinet depends on the nature of the archive. If documents are browsed several times a day, a low cabinet or drawer unit beside the workstation is the most practical choice, serving as a printer stand or display surface and keeping folders within arm’s reach. When documents are shared and needed regularly by the whole team, a tall archive cabinet or open shelf forms a convenient near‑archive. Cabinet doors protect against dust, while an open shelf is ideal when speed matters and the rows of folders must stay visible.
The pre‑assembled, welded cabinet is dimensioned for binders and hanging folders. Each shelf carries 150 kg, and cabinets are available in several heights and widths.
In archive areas, fire classification and locking solutions determine where a cabinet can be placed. The metal frame slows the spread of fire, and the cylinder lock protects confidential personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements. Accessories such as dividers, book supports, hanging‑file frames and pull‑out shelves make the unit versatile and easy to use. Shelf load is 150 kg and bay load 560 kg. Space can be utilised in many ways. Compared with traditional shelving, a mobile shelf offers excellent capacity in the same area by turning aisle space into shelf metres. If extra metres are not required, the archive fits into a smaller room, leaving freed‑up space for other purposes. Our range includes several mobile shelves for offices, archives and workstations. Mobile shelves operate electrically or manually. Tracks are fixed to the floor or supplied with a floating floor. Load capacity differs: the heaviest units carry 800 kg per bay, lighter ones 375 kg.
