Treston ESD armrests — adjustable support built for EPA work

Treston ESD armrests give technicians, assemblers and inspectors a stable place to rest their forearms without compromising ESD control. The antistatic, ESD‑safe design supports reliable work in sensitive areas. They are designed for use with Treston’s ESD chairs in electronics manufacturing, labs, service and calibration areas, and other ESD protected areas (EPAs) where consistent, repeatable work is required.

Why add armrests to a chair?

Arm support matters. It eases the load on the shoulders and neck, helps keep the wrists in a neutral position, and reduces micro‑movements that lead to fatigue. On an ESD chair, armrests also give you a predictable, low‑friction surface for steady hand placement during detailed tasks such as soldering, connector assembly or microscope work.

Adjustment that follows the task

The armrests offer 80 mm of height adjustment and 50 mm of width adjustment. That range covers the most common bench and jig heights used in technical production and lets operators set comfortable shoulder width without squeezing inward or reaching outward.

Reversible mounting to get closer to the worktop

Mount the brackets facing forward in a typical configuration, or swap left and right to face them backward when you need to slide closer to instruments, fixtures or a deep workbench. This reversible setup is handy for microscope stations, small‑part assembly, test leads at the front edge, or any task where you want the chair to tuck in tight without the arm pads touching the work surface.
