Electric pallet stackers are the practical choice for pallet storage when a full‑size forklift would be too much. Pick the format that fits your routes and hours: a walkie stacker for short transfers in tight aisles, a ride‑on/platform stacker for longer runs with a fold‑down platform, or a stand‑in stacker for continuous duty. All models handle palletised loads safely while keeping the turning radius small.
Power options include flooded lead‑acid, maintenance‑saving AGM or gel, and modern lithium‑ion (Li‑ion/LFP) for fast opportunity charging and long service life.

Pallet stackers bridge the gap between a pallet truck and a forklift. They lift palletised goods to racking efficiently without the size and cost of a counterbalanced truck. Depending on distance and duty cycle, you can select one of three operator concepts:
Walkie stacker. The operator walks behind the truck. This is ideal for short moves, tight spaces and occasional stacking in small stores and production cells.
Ride‑on / platform stacker. A fold‑down platform allows the operator to ride on the back of the truck for longer runs. The platform folds up to keep the turning radius small when manoeuvring in narrow aisles.
Stand‑in stacker. The operator stands inside the chassis for protection and higher travel speed. This format suits continuous handling, block stacking and heavier throughput.
Start with the maximum shelf level you must reach and check the truck’s lowered height against doors, beams and mezzanine underpasses. A triplex mast offers generous free lift and high maximum lift while maintaining a low overall height, which is often the best match for mixed‑height buildings.
Flooded lead‑acid remains a cost‑effective choice when charging and watering routines are well managed. AGM and gel variants reduce maintenance and tolerate deep discharge better than flooded types. For multi‑shift work or where charging windows are short, lithium‑ion (Li‑ion/LFP) enables fast top‑ups and reliable opportunity charging without battery changes, helping trucks stay productive throughout the day.
