Quality construction matters. Lockable doors, spill trays on every level and a corrosion‑resistant interior reduce risk and simplify cleaning. Where hazardous substances are handled, chemical storage cabinets are the simplest way to keep containers segregated, labelled and protected. Robust steel construction, secure locking and integrated spill trays support safe daily work in laboratories, production areas and maintenance stores.
For flammable liquids, select EN 14470‑1 safety storage cabinets. These models are fire‑tested to keep the interior below the temperature rise for 90 minutes.
Cabinets prepared for ventilation help control odours and vapours. Connect to a dedicated exhaust line for negative‑pressure extraction, or use dilution ventilation where appropriate to reduce airborne concentrations. Clear labelling and adjustable shelves make inventory checks straightforward.
Environmental cabinets are designed for non‑flammable substances that are hazardous to waterways. Each shelf functions as its own spill tray and the base sump collects any leakage. Hot‑dip galvanised shelves handle typical chemicals; stainless or acid‑resistant options.
For shop environments with aerosols and flammable goods, fire‑protected display cabinets tested to SP 2369 Class 1 limit flame spread in the early phase of a fire and support safe merchandising. Adjustable shelves, door closers and levelling feet improve usability.

General fire‑protected cabinets compliant with SFS 4399 offer 30‑minute fire resistance for documents, medicines and other heat‑sensitive goods.
For larger containers and drums, heavy‑duty hazardous substance cabinets are built with forklift pockets for safe transport, a galvanised grating and a lock hasp. One cabinet typically holds 1–4 drums depending on size.
