Orion’s forklift, automation, and furniture solutions provided by THTT for its packaging and logistics facility in Salo
Due to increased production volumes, Orion centralized its pharmaceutical packaging and logistics operations in Salo. To address its growing need for additional space, Orion acquired former Nokia mobile phone factory premises. THTT supplied forklifts and completed the furniture installations smoothly and efficiently.
A 60-month rental agreement was made for the forklift equipment, covering financing and maintenance. The delivery included Cat EP15 forklifts, Rocla Humanic stackers, Rocla SST16 forklifts, Rocla T20 pallet trucks, Rocla T16 double pallet handlers, and Rocla TWS20 pallet trucks.
The existing KASTEN shelves were reused for warehouse furnishings and supplemented with new parts. Additionally, customized KASTEN Tornado and Paternoster automated storage systems tailored to the customer’s specific requirements were supplied.
