Move the wrapper to the pallet, not the other way around. The Girotec II RDL is a mobile pallet wrapper built on a hand pallet truck (pallet jack), powered by an integrated 24 V battery system. It lets you wrap anywhere in the warehouse or on the loading dock without extension cables, saving time and reducing traffic around fixed machines. The rotary wrapping action delivers consistent containment for everyday shipping and internal transfers.

If your pallets are spread across the warehouse, it makes little sense to haul every load to a fixed turntable. The Girotec II RDL solves that. Built on a hand pallet truck base and driven by an integrated 24 V battery, this mobile pallet wrapper goes to the pallet and takes care of wrapping on the spot. The result is a cleaner flow, fewer forklift trips, and more predictable film application across shifts.
Because the wrapper is battery‑powered, you’re not tied to wall sockets or trailing power leads. That means faster changeovers between wrapping locations and fewer obstacles around high‑traffic areas. Charge with a standard 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply, then work freely around the floor. In everyday use, operators simply steer the unit with the pump‑truck handle, park by the pallet and start the cycle. No rearranging of lanes, no cables to tape down.
The built‑in pallet truck (also known as a pallet jack) makes positioning straightforward even in narrow aisles. Bringing the machine to the load helps cut empty travel, reduces pallet handling and can lower the risk of product scuffing or corner damage during extra moves. For order‑picking and staging areas this approach is often quicker and keeps congestion down around fixed machines.
The Girotec II RDL uses a rotary wrapping action to secure the film around the load. With an 11 rpm rotation speed and a maximum wrapping height of 1850 mm, it covers a broad range of everyday loads. Throughput of 15–25 pallets per hour provides steady capacity for small and mid‑size shipping cells.
The machine accepts standard Euro‑pallet footprints up to 800 × 1200 mm and total load heights up to 1800 mm. The film roll diameter can be up to 180 mm, a typical size for common industrial stretch films. These limits suit most routine outbound shipments as well as internal transfers and WIP movements.
Keeping the load stationary during wrapping means fewer turns and less strain for operators compared with manual hand‑wrapping. It also helps maintain load stability for tall or mixed‑case pallets during the wrapping process. Eliminating trailing power cables improves housekeeping around busy walkways and truck routes. Good practice is to maintain clear approach zones around each wrapping point and ensure adequate film‑change height, so operators can change rolls without over‑reaching.
