When aisles are tight and the picking window is short, warehouse steps must be quick to move and rock solid underfoot. The 3‑tread PTH model solves both demands. Its fixed aluminium frame is engineered for daily use in storerooms, production cells and small‑parts shelving. The unit is EN 131 compliant and rated to 150 kg, so one person can climb with tools or a tote without the frame twisting or the platform flexing.

Built for narrow aisles and small‑parts shelving

These picking steps keep the footprint compact without compromising stability. With a base width of 470 mm and a base length of 830 mm, the ladder fits between narrow racks and carton flow lanes, and it parks close to the face of the shelving so the operator can reach the target bin without leaning. The platform height is 680 mm, giving comfortable access to lower and mid‑level locations while keeping overall height to 1310 mm for clearances under mezzanines, conveyors and signage.

Mobile when you want it, stationary when you need it

True order picking efficiency comes from fast repositioning between picks. The PTH mobile warehouse steps have fixed rear wheels and spring‑loaded castors on the climbing side. Roll them lightly down the aisle, then step on: the castors retract under body weight and the TPE feet bite the floor so the ladder stands still. This self‑locking behaviour works on concrete, epoxy‑coated floors and steel grating, helping the team maintain pace even in mixed floor conditions.

Non‑slip platform and treads

The work platform is made from perforated aluminium tread plate that drains away dust, debris and moisture. Underfoot grip stays consistent during dry‑down after cleaning, in machining areas with chips, or at loading bays exposed to weather. Each step uses a ribbed profile with oval perforations to increase traction and reduce carry‑over of dirt.

Handrails

Full‑height handrails provide three points of contact during ascent. The rails also encourage facing the steps during descent. Because the handrails are integral to the fixed frame, there are no loose parts to adjust or maintain.
