This Dexion P90 pallet racking starter bay is a practical base section for organised Euro pallet racking. It is sized for 6 EUR/Euro pallet positions and gives you a stable, forklift-accessible structure that you can extend as your stock levels and product mix change.

The dimensions are chosen for everyday warehouse layouts: height 3000 mm, rack depth 1050 mm and bay width 1850 mm. With two pallets side by side on each level, the bay is typically set up with two beam levels plus a floor level, giving a total of six pallet positions. As a selective pallet racking solution, each pallet position stays directly accessible from the aisle with a forklift.

What’s included in the starter bay

This pallet racking starter bay (often called a basic unit) is supplied as a complete, ready-to-build bay consisting of:

• Two upright frames (end frames): Each end frame includes the uprights, bracing, base plates and fixing hardware. Together they form the rigid “sides” of the bay and provide the stability needed for palletised loads.
• Four load beams: The beams create two adjustable beam levels (two pairs of beams). Each beam includes safety locks that secure the beam-to-upright connection and help reduce the risk of accidental beam movement during daily handling.

Because the starter bay includes two end frames, it is the correct starting point for a longer run of Euro pallet racking. When you want to increase capacity, you typically add extension bays (also called add-on bays) to extend the row.

Load capacity for demanding warehouse use

When you are storing pallets, numbers matter. This bay is specified for up to 1000 kg per pallet. Maximum beam level capacity up to 2930 kg.

That makes it suitable for many common warehouse loads, from components and spare parts on pallets to packaged goods waiting for dispatch. Forklift-friendly access and practical safety upgrades

• More beam levels: Increase vertical storage when the building height and handling equipment allow it.
