The double-sided design lets you store on both sides of the same row, helping you get more storage out of the same footprint.

Where double-sided cantilever racking works best

Double-sided cantilever racking is typically positioned so that it can be served from both sides. This layout is also useful when you want clear separation between product groups. For example, you can keep timber and boards on one side and tubes or profiles on the other, while still keeping the stock easy to see and quick to pick.

Typical stored materials

This rack is designed for heavy and long materials such as timber, steel tubes and other construction materials. It is a practical choice whenever the length of the goods makes conventional shelving awkward, or when you want to avoid blocking access with front posts or cross beams.

In everyday use, cantilever racking is often chosen because it keeps long goods easy to lift and easy to return. When the storage location is obvious and the access is clear, handling becomes quicker and the risk of damage from unnecessary moves is reduced.

The arm load capacity tells you the maximum load per cantilever arm. The upright capacity is stated per upright side, which helps you assess the overall permissible load on one side of a single upright. For safe operation, keep within these limits and distribute the load sensibly across the arms and uprights.
