The Dexion light duty cantilever rack is a single-sided cantilever racking unit with three uprights. It is designed for efficient storage of rod and pipe products and longer bundles, and it supports forklift handling when you want to move stock mechanically rather than by hand. With the right setup, long materials stay straight, visible and easy to reach.
A single-sided cantilever rack gives you one picking face. In practice, that suits locations where the rack will stand against a wall, along the side of an aisle, or at the edge of a storage area where access from the rear is not needed. You avoid wasted space behind the rack, you keep traffic flow predictable, and operators always approach the load from the same direction.
Cantilever racking is also popular because the front stays open. Unlike many frame-based racks, there are no front posts blocking the load. That makes it easier to place and remove long goods, and it helps reduce the everyday bumps and scrapes that happen when stock has to be manoeuvred through tight openings.
