The Dexion RU Cantilever Racking K60 is a heavy duty cantilever racking solution for demanding long goods storage. This product is a single-sided, 3-upright configuration, suitable for storing items like bar stock and pipe, steel sections, long profiles and bundled materials. Forklift handling is possible, which is often the key requirement when full bundles need to move in and out efficiently.

What a heavy-duty cantilever rack is used for

Cantilever racking is a practical choice when the goods are long, bulky, or difficult to store on standard shelving. Instead of front posts blocking access, the rack face stays open. Loads can be placed directly onto the arms and taken out without squeezing between uprights. That is why heavy-duty cantilever racking is widely used in production plants, steel service centres, timber storage areas, and trade warehouses where long-length stock is part of daily work.

Typical stored items include pipes and tubing, bar stock and rods, long profiles, and bundled goods. Different arm levels also make it easier to keep grades and lengths separated, so the right bundle is quicker to locate. The same cantilever racking system can also be used for other long materials as long as the loads match the chosen arm length and load rating.

Single-sided layout for wall-side installation

This is single-sided cantilever racking. In practice, single-sided units are often installed against a wall or along the edge of an aisle. You get storage capacity without sacrificing two-sided access, and you can keep the working aisle clear for forklifts and safe material flow.

A single-sided layout is also a straightforward way to expand long goods storage step by step. If the storage need changes, the system can be reconfigured by selecting a different combination of uprights, arm levels and arm lengths.

Finish and corrosion protection

The RU K60 cantilever rack is powder coated blue, RAL 5015. In indoor industrial use, this finish gives a clean appearance and helps protect the steel surfaces in normal warehouse conditions.

If the cantilever rack is planned for outdoor use, the recommended surface treatment is hot-dip galvanising. Outdoor yards and loading areas can be tough on steel structures, so galvanising is typically the safer choice when the rack is exposed to weather.
