The Dexion light-duty vertical storage rack add-on bay is built to solve that everyday problem. It lets you extend your storage run in a controlled, modular way, so long goods stay organised and easy to access.

Extend your rack run in 1800 mm steps

Because this is an add-on bay, it is designed to be used together with a starter unit (base unit). Each add-on bay extends an existing run by 1800 mm. This is a simple way to start with a sensible base setup and then expand as your stock range grows.

Single-sided or double-sided

The add-on bay is available in single-sided and double-sided versions. The right option depends on how you want to place the rack and how people approach it.

• Single-sided moulding rack layouts are typically used when the rack is placed along a wall or at the edge of a sales area. Stock is accessed from one side, which keeps the footprint controlled and leaves more open floor for customers and traffic.
• Double-sided moulding rack layouts are used when the rack is installed as a freestanding run, accessible from both sides. This can be an efficient way to increase capacity without taking up more wall space.

What is included in this add-on bay

The add-on bay is supplied as a component set for extending the system. It includes:

• 1 end upright
• 5 intermediate beams
• 22 divider pins

The upright forms the end of the new bay, while the beams create the support levels for your long goods. The divider pins let you split each level into clear sections, so you can separate products by length, type or batch. That separation matters with mouldings and profiles, where small differences can be hard to spot if stock is piled together.
