Low floor-mounted collision barrier for forklift impact protection

This low protective beam is suited to areas where forklifts, pallet trucks and other low-moving vehicles operate close to structures. It is used to protect building elements, machines, stored goods and other targets that are exposed to impact near driving lanes, handling areas and loading zones. The low profile keeps sight lines open and helps avoid unnecessary obstacles in a busy working environment.

Protection in the “contact zone”

Fork tips, pallet corners and low vehicle parts tend to strike the lower part of walls, columns and racking first. Installing protection right at floor level is often the simplest way to reduce day-to-day damage. Because the barrier is low, it can be added close to the process without turning the area into a fenced corridor. Drivers can still see across aisles and pedestrians can keep an overview of approaching traffic.

The barrier has a steel structure designed to withstand repeated impacts. In practical terms, that means it is suitable for high-traffic industrial environments where protection must be reliable, straightforward and easy to recognise.

Hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated for indoor or outdoor use

The surface treatment is designed for demanding conditions. Hot-dip galvanising provides corrosion protection against moisture changes and, outdoors, exposure to de-icing salts. A powder-coated top layer adds extra durability and helps the warning colour stay visible even with UV exposure. This makes the barrier a sensible choice both for indoor halls and for outdoor areas where weather and temperature shifts are part of normal operations.

Visibility is part of safety. The high-visibility yellow finish with black markings stands out clearly, even at a distance. That visual cue helps drivers identify protected zones early, especially at door openings, ramps and tight turning points where attention is split between the load, the route and other traffic.

Floor-level installation

The collision barrier is installed directly onto the floor. Pre-drilled mounting plates support quick, accurate fixing and make it easier to place the barrier exactly where it is needed. Fixings are not included, so the anchors can be chosen to suit the substrate and the conditions on site.
