Changing rooms run better when people can sit down, open a door and get moving without queuing for space. That is exactly where the Handy Basic short-door staff locker earns its place. The shorter door opening allows the locker door to open even when a Handy bench is positioned in front, so seating can stay where it is needed without turning the room into a bottleneck.

This short-door staff locker is built for everyday use. The body and doors are made from powder-coated steel, which gives the changing room locker a hard-wearing surface that stands up to repeated use and is easy to wipe clean. The stock colour is light grey RAL 7035, a practical shade for industrial and public interiors. Because the unit is supplied fully welded, installation time stays short and the locker body remains rigid from the first day of use.

Fully welded steel construction for reliable daily service

A fully welded steel locker feels solid in use, resists twisting and helps the doors keep their alignment over time. The locker arrives ready for placement instead of consuming site time in assembly. The smooth metal surfaces also make routine cleaning straightforward. In staff facilities, that matters just as much as strength. Dust, dirt and everyday splashes can be cleaned off quickly, helping the room stay presentable with less effort.

Standard interior fittings support everyday clothing storage

Inside each compartment, the Handy Basic metal locker is equipped for normal staff use as standard. Every locker includes a steel hat shelf, a clothes rail and two hooks. This combination gives users a clear place for workwear, personal clothing and smaller items that should stay off the floor. The shelf is useful for gloves, hats, folded garments or personal effects, while the rail and hooks make it easier to hang jackets, shirts and other clothing properly.

The locker is also ventilated through perforations in the door and at the base. Good air movement is important in any clothes locker, especially when garments are stored after a shift or when changing rooms are used throughout the day by several people. The ventilation openings help moisture escape and support a fresher interior environment.

Lock options for different security needs

Security needs vary from one site to another, which is why the Handy Basic changing room locker can be specified with different locking options. You can choose either a hasp fitting or a European cam lock at no extra charge. For sites that require a master-key system, an Abloy lock is also available at extra cost.

As standard, the locker is equipped with one-point locking. Where higher resistance is required, the same metal locker can also be produced with three-point locking. For particularly demanding environments, the body thickness can be increased up to 2 mm.

Prepared for better changing room ventilation

Locker rooms are easier to keep comfortable when air moves properly. If you want to improve indoor air quality, the lockers can be connected to the ventilation system.

Sizes, configurations and finish options

The Handy Basic staff locker is available with 2, 3 or 4 compartments. Compartment width is 300 mm or 400 mm, locker depth is 500 mm and overall height is 1860 mm. The total width depends on the number of compartments selected, which makes it easier to scale the locker row to the room and the number of users.
