Workbench Drawer Unit 9 is a 4-drawer under-bench storage unit designed for the Handy Industrial workbench. It gives tools, spare parts and accessories a fixed place directly below the worktop, where they are easy to reach without leaving the workstation. The drawer layout combines two 75 mm drawers with two 200 mm drawers, so smaller items and bulkier tools can be stored separately in the same compact drawer unit.
The unit measures 520 × 550 × 625 mm (W × D × H) and weighs 32 kg. The drawers run on ball-bearing runners and open fully for clear access to the entire drawer. A central lock with two keys helps keep tools and components secure between shifts.
One drawer unit fits under a 725 mm worktop, two under a 1245 mm worktop and three under a 1765 mm worktop.

Workbench Drawer Unit 9 for the Handy Industrial workbench gives a fixed storage place under the worktop for tools, fasteners, spare parts and daily maintenance accessories. This model has four drawers in two height classes. The two 75 mm drawers are well suited for low-profile items such as bits, blades, measuring tools, labels, small spare parts and other light accessories that are easiest to use when they are divided by type. The two 200 mm drawers give more room for taller hand tools, battery-powered tools, chargers, boxed accessories or maintenance supplies.
The unit is designed to be mounted below a Handy Industrial workbench. Its width of 520 mm keeps it compact enough for different bench lengths, while the 550 mm depth and 625 mm height give useful storage volume for everyday workshop and production tasks. The total weight is 32 kg. The under-bench position saves floor space and keeps the work surface clear.
The steel construction is powder-coated for industrial use and the standard colours are RAL 7016 / RAL 7035. For projects where the drawer cabinet needs to match a company colour, production area or existing furniture, all RAL Classic colours are available as a separate special order. A good drawer layout reduces searching. In this model, the two shallow drawers can be used for the items that are easily lost in a large drawer: screws, washers, drill bits, measuring devices, small tools, spare blades and other small components. The two deeper drawers are useful for items that need more height or are usually stored in cases. Keeping these groups separate helps the workstation stay tidy and makes it easier for different users to find the same tool in the same place.
Each drawer runs on ball-bearing runners and opens to full 100% extension. Full-extension access matters in daily use because the back of the drawer is visible and reachable, not just the front section. That is especially useful with smaller items, where the parts needed are often at the rear of the drawer. The smooth runner action also makes the drawer unit comfortable to use during repeated opening and closing in busy work shifts.
Workbench Drawer Unit 9 is equipped with central locking and is supplied with two keys. One lock secures all drawers at once, which is practical at the end of a shift, during breaks or when several people use the same workbench. It helps keep tools, measuring equipment and small components in the right workstation, reducing unnecessary replacement purchases and time spent looking for missing items.
The Handy Industrial workbench is a sturdy industrial table system with different worktop lengths. Drawer Unit 9 can be combined with other Handy Industrial drawer units, and the number of units placed under the bench depends on the worktop length.
Fixing bolts are included. The same bolt pattern is used across the Handy Industrial drawer unit range, so the module can be changed later without drilling.
Handy Industrial workbenches can be configured with 22 different drawer unit options. The wider range makes it possible to match storage to the work: more shallow drawers for small parts, deeper drawers for larger tools, or a different combination when the process requires it.
