The perforated platform allows water to drain through instead of collecting beneath the user’s feet. The ribbed treads add grip on the way up and down. Several sizes make it easier to match the platform step ladder to the required access height, while versions with lower stabiliser bars meet the stated Finnish construction-site requirements.

If a job takes more than a quick reach, standing space matters. The 4T industrial aluminium platform steps are made for work where a narrow ladder tread does not provide enough room or support. The large platform gives the user a clear place to stand during assembly, maintenance, inspection and stock handling. A high safety rail supports the user at hip level, while handrails on both sides make climbing and descending more controlled.
At the top of the platform step ladder is a 430 x 430 mm working platform. Its size gives both feet room to rest on the same level, which is useful when a task takes longer than a quick reach to a shelf. The broader standing area also makes it easier to face the work directly and change position without trying to balance on a narrow tread. The platform has a perforated surface. The openings provide grip and allow water to pass through, helping to prevent water from collecting on the standing area. This is useful in industrial spaces where footwear may carry moisture onto the steps, as well as in covered outdoor work areas.
Each tread is 80 mm deep and has a ribbed surface. The depth gives the foot more contact with the step during ascent and descent, while the ribbing improves grip. This matters in workplaces where the platform steps may be used repeatedly during a shift.
Handrails are supplied as standard and give the user a steady handhold during both ascent and descent. At platform level, the 890 mm high safety rail provides support around hip height. The same basic support therefore continues from the lower steps to the standing platform.
The 4T industrial platform steps are made in Finland and have an aluminium frame. Aluminium keeps the structure relatively light, which is valuable when access equipment must be relocated between production areas, storage aisles or maintenance points. For example, an eight-step version weighs as little as 14.5 kg.
