4T industrial aluminium platform steps for stable work at height

When a job takes more than a quick reach, standing space matters. The 4T industrial aluminium platform steps give the user a 430 x 430 mm platform, handrails on both sides and an 890 mm high safety rail. A large working platform for a steady stance

At the top of the platform step ladder is a 430 x 430 mm working platform. It gives both feet room to rest on the same level, which is useful when the job involves fastening, adjusting, inspecting or handling small parts. Compared with balancing on a single narrow tread, the platform provides a more practical position for work that cannot be completed in a few seconds.

The platform has a perforated surface. Its openings add grip and allow water to pass through rather than collect under the user’s footwear. This is helpful in industrial spaces where damp shoes may carry moisture onto the steps, and in covered outdoor work areas where the equipment may be exposed to water. The open surface also makes the standing area easy to inspect before use.

A platform step ladder with handrails on both sides

Each tread is 80 mm deep and has a ribbed surface. The tread depth gives the foot a clear contact area while climbing, and the ribbing improves grip during ascent and descent. These details are especially useful where the platform steps are climbed repeatedly during a shift.

Handrails are fitted on both sides as standard. They provide a continuous handhold from the lower treads towards the platform, helping the user climb and descend in a controlled way. Once on the platform, the 890 mm high safety rail offers support at hip level. The combination of a broad platform, side handrails and a high rail makes the 4T industrial platform steps well suited to tasks where an ordinary stepladder provides too little standing space or upper-level support.

Lightweight aluminium for changing work locations

Access equipment often has to follow the work. A maintenance point may change, stock may be stored in another aisle or an assembly task may move to a different station.
