The 1 mm aluminium wall keeps the overall weight down, so one person can handle the box more easily, while the reinforced base and lid give the structure the stiffness it needs when fully loaded.

The lid closes against a continuous rubber gasket to help block dust and splashes. The seal is also useful in sandy yards, wet loading bays and unheated stores where airborne dust and occasional spray are part of the job.
