Shelving installation
When planning the installation of small-item shelving, you’ll first need to decide whether the shelves will be wall-mounted or freestanding. Freestanding shelves are supported at the back using cross-brace supports. Installation instructions will be included with the delivery, attached to the shipping list.
To install small-item shelving, start by assembling the side frames. Then, position two shelves—one at the top and one at the bottom (making sure not to block the holes needed for the cross-braces). Adjust the shelving until it’s level, using a spirit level for accuracy, and tighten the cross-braces. If the warehouse floor is uneven, optional leveling plates are available to even things out. Finally, install the remaining shelf brackets and place the shelves into position.
Pallet Racking Installation
When planning pallet racking installation, it’s important to choose the right method for securing it to the floor. For concrete floors, we recommend using M10 120 mm expansion bolts. Before drilling, make sure to check carefully for any underfloor heating pipes! If your space has floor heating, you can also secure pallet racking by using adhesive instead.
When installing pallet racks, the work typically involves using various lifting equipment. At THTT, our pallet rack installation team always uses well-maintained, safe lifting equipment and harnesses to ensure workplace safety. Before starting the installation, it’s a good idea to confirm that the materials can be easily moved to the work area. If the installer has access to a forklift or personnel lift provided by the customer, these can also be used to simplify moving and erecting the racks.
We buy and dismantle used pallet racks. When updating your warehouse, we can also offer trade-in credit for your old equipment!
