Because PE is resistant to moisture, bubble wrap also offers practical protection in real-life warehouse conditions: humidity changes, cold loading bays, and long transit times. It is not a replacement for waterproof outer packaging, but as a cushioning layer it helps keep surfaces protected and reduces the risk of moisture-related marks when goods are stored or transported.
