RU Cantilever Racking Uprights (Dexion K60) for Long Goods Storage

The RU cantilever racking concept is valued for its simple and flexible structure. It fits a wide range of work environments, from a small workshop to continuous production, and from a builders’ merchant pick-up area to high-turnover wholesale storage. When you start with correctly specified uprights, it is easier to build a rack layout that matches your material flow and the way you handle stock.

Finish and Corrosion Protection

These RU cantilever racking uprights are powder coated in RAL 5015 blue. A powder-coated finish is a practical choice for indoor warehouses and production environments, helping protect the steel surface from day-to-day wear while keeping the rack easy to spot and easy to keep clean.

If the installation will be outdoors, in a yard, or in locations exposed to moisture and changing weather, a hot-dip galvanised surface treatment is recommended. Galvanising is commonly used for racking that needs stronger corrosion resistance, for example in outdoor long goods storage areas, under canopies, or close to loading docks where condensation and wet packaging are part of everyday work.

Accessories That Improve Safety and Sorting

• End stop pins for cantilever arms: End stop pins are available for the ends of the cantilever arms. They help prevent goods from sliding or rolling off the arms during storage and handling. If you store pipes, round bars, or any material that can move easily, end stops can make the rack safer and help keep aisles clear. The end stop pin height is 200 mm.
• Bar-stock cassette for separated storage: A bar-stock cassette is also available, made of powder-coated steel. With a cassette in place, products can be divided using intermediate pins, which helps you separate different grades, dimensions, or orders within the same level.
• Arm troughs for shorter items: Arm troughs make it possible to store shorter goods on the cantilever arms. This is a simple way to reduce small stacks on the floor and keep short lengths where they are easy to reach.
