Storing long goods sounds simple until daily work starts: bundles roll, single lengths disappear into a pile, and every pick takes longer than it should. With Dexion RU K60 heavy-duty cantilever racking, long materials are kept in organised, open-front storage positions where loading and picking can be done efficiently with a forklift.

This single-sided cantilever rack is built for demanding warehouse and production environments where long, heavy goods need a stable storage solution. It is particularly well suited for bar and pipe materials and for long bundled loads. The rack can be configured to match the goods you store, so you get the arm length, upright height and bay spacing that fit your operation instead of forcing your stock to fit a standard shelf.

Why cantilever racking works for bars, pipes and long bundles

Cantilever racking is designed around one clear idea: store long goods on horizontal arms without front obstacles. When the storage position is open from the front, you can place and retrieve loads without fighting against beams or posts in the way. That matters every day when you are handling steel bars, tubes and pipes, or moving long bundles in and out of the rack with a forklift.

Good long goods storage is also about visibility. When each level is open and clearly separated, it becomes easier to see what you have, measure what is left, and pick the right bundle without shifting other stock around. This reduces handling time and helps to avoid damage that often happens when long goods are stored on the floor.

Single-sided design, 4 uprights

This product is a single-sided cantilever racking bay with 4 uprights. A single-sided rack is typically placed against a wall or along the edge of an aisle, so you can concentrate forklift handling to one side. In many layouts this is a practical way to keep floor space tidy while still leaving enough room for safe manoeuvring and picking.

If you need a different layout, ask for alternative sizes and configurations. We can also supply light-duty and medium-duty cantilever racks in addition to heavy-duty systems.

Powder-coated blue or hot-dip galvanised for outdoor use

The standard finish for the Dexion RU K60 cantilever rack is powder-coated blue (RAL 5015). Powder coating provides a durable surface for indoor warehouses and production areas. If the rack will be installed outdoors or in weather-exposed areas, a hot-dip galvanised finish is recommended for corrosion protection.

When planning an outdoor installation, remember that long goods often arrive and leave in varying weather conditions. Choosing the correct surface treatment at the start helps reduce maintenance and keeps the rack in good condition over the long term.

Arm end stop pins and optional accessories

The price example configurations do not include arm end stop pins. End stops help keep long loads in position and can be important when storing round or smooth materials that may shift during loading. If you need them, please order them separately.
