EFAmix S fibreglass stepladder for professional electrical work

There is rarely much free space beside a control cabinet, production line or building-services installation. A maintenance ladder still has to provide secure footing, yet it also needs to move easily from one job to the next. The EFAmix S fibreglass stepladder is designed for that setting. It has insulating glass-fibre-reinforced plastic stiles, deep aluminium treads, a standing platform and a tool tray.

The folded profile measures only 88 mm. That slim transport dimension is useful in service vehicles, maintenance stores and other places where bulky equipment is difficult to accommodate. It is climbed from one side, with the treads leading to the 250 × 250 mm platform.

Insulating GRP stiles for electrical environments

The side stiles are made from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, commonly shortened to GRP. These insulating GRP stiles are the key reason the EFAmix S is suitable for access work around electrical installations. The product is high-voltage tested for ladders of insulating material in accordance with DIN EN 61478.

80 mm serrated aluminium treads

Each climbing tread is 80 mm deep and made from an extruded aluminium section. The serrated surface gives footwear a more positive contact point than a narrow, smooth rung. The 80 mm format is also easier underfoot during repeated ascents than a narrow rung. High-friction feet made from a two-component rubber compound support the base on a suitable surface.

A standing platform and tool tray within easy reach

At the top of the climbing section is a 250 × 250 mm safety platform. It gives the feet a defined standing area for short-duration work at height. Above it, the tool tray keeps small tools and accessories close at hand. A screwdriver, tester or frequently used fitting can be placed there instead of being carried during every ascent.

Compact folded depth for transport and storage

A full-size professional stepladder can be awkward to fit into a crowded vehicle or equipment room. EFAmix S has a folded profile of only 88 mm, so it takes up little space in a suitable rack or storage bay. The slim profile also helps when the ladder is carried along service routes and into restricted maintenance areas.
