When items have to be picked above the first rack levels, an order picker is often the most direct way to raise throughput without changing the building. The EP JX1 electric order picker brings the operator straight to the pick face and keeps the footprint compact, so work remains safe and predictable even in tight aisles. The platform reaches 4,800 mm and provides a working height of roughly 6,300 mm, covering typical second and third rack levels in distribution and parts handling.

The chassis measures 1,610 mm in length and 860 mm in width. A 1,450 mm turning radius and a recommended aisle width of about 2,200 mm make the JX1 a natural fit for narrow‑aisle layouts. Travel speed up to 5.5 km/h helps maintain a steady rhythm between picks, and the overall height of 2,120 mm lets the truck pass under low mezzanines or conveyors when lowered.

Ergonomics at height

Picking at height requires confidence and control. The JX1 provides a secure standing area with a textured floor and clear sightlines to the racking. The picking platform measures 520 x 800 mm and carries up to 135 kg, so cartons, bins and small totes can travel safely with the operator. Precise electric lift allows feathered positioning right at the pick location, which minimises overstretching and improves accuracy. Control elements are within natural reach to reduce shoulder strain during longer runs.

Li‑ion power, simple charging

The truck is built around a maintenance‑free 24 V lithium‑ion battery rated at 205 Ah. Opportunity charging during breaks is easy via the integrated 25 A charger, keeping the truck ready throughout the shift. Electric drive (24/1.7 V/kW) and the 24/2.2 V/kW lift motor provide smooth acceleration and consistent lifting speed as the battery discharges. For heavier utilisation, larger Li‑ion batteries and higher‑output chargers are available to extend runtime and reduce changeovers.

Support wheels and a well‑balanced mast structure keep the truck stable while travelling and when elevated.
