This galvanised intermediate support beam (pallet support bar) drops onto the load beams and gives your pallets extra front-to-back support for longitudinal storage, non-standard pallet sizes and mixed loads. Turn a pallet 90° to create multiple product rows in one pallet position, or support an odd-size pallet that would otherwise sit poorly on the main beams.
The zinc-coated steel surface resists rust, dirt and everyday knocks, helping your racking stay tidy and in service with less maintenance. It can also be used as tunnel protection to help prevent a pallet from dropping into an open passageway below. Quick drop-in installation.
Price per single support bar (order two for a complete pair).

When pallets need to go into a bay lengthwise instead of in the usual direction, the rack has to support the load differently. A galvanised pallet support bar (intermediate support beam) gives you that extra support across the depth of the rack, so you can store pallets longitudinally and keep the storage level stable. It also doubles as tunnel protection, helping to keep an open passage below the rack safer by reducing the risk of a pallet dropping down.
This is a practical add-on for warehouses, production facilities and distribution centres where the load profile changes, pallet sizes vary, or the same rack location needs to handle several product rows. The pallet support bar is made from galvanised steel, designed for a standard 1050 mm pallet rack depth, and installed by simply dropping it onto the pallet beams.
The pallet support bar is positioned between the front and rear load beams of a pallet rack level. Once in place, it creates a stable resting point across the rack depth. That makes it possible to place a pallet lengthwise into the rack (front-to-back), or to support pallets and load carriers that do not sit correctly on the two main beams alone.
Because the bar supports the pallet at an additional point, it can help reduce unwanted pallet tilt and improve overall stability at the beam level. It is a simple component, but in the right place it makes a noticeable difference to how confidently pallets can be stored and retrieved.
The galvanised steel finish provides corrosion protection and a tough surface for daily warehouse work. It helps resist rust, dirt and mechanical wear from handling, so the accessory stays serviceable even when racking is used intensively.
Galvanised components are often preferred in areas where conditions are harsher than a dry, heated warehouse. If your operation includes cold storage, unheated spaces, or loading areas where moisture and temperature changes are common, a zinc-coated surface can be a sensible, low-maintenance choice.
