Behind the doors, there is room for lever arch files, documents, printer paper, manuals, boxed supplies and other workplace items. It arrives fully assembled, so there is no cabinet-building job to schedule before use.

Spot-welded cold-rolled steel construction

The body and doors are made from 0.7 mm cold-rolled sheet steel. The parts are joined by spot welding, creating a rigid structure that is well suited to regular workplace use. Because the cabinet is already assembled, there are no separate frame joints for the user to tighten during installation.

The doors are reinforced with a box-section structure to improve rigidity. The shelves use a box-section design as well, giving the metal storage cabinet dependable support for both office materials and heavier supplies. This construction makes Handy a practical industrial storage cabinet without giving it an overly technical appearance.

Adjustable shelves with a load capacity of up to 65 kg

Fixed shelf spacing rarely suits every item. Handy therefore uses height-adjustable shelves, allowing the internal layout to be changed when storage needs change. You can create taller spaces for folders and manuals, or reduce the spacing for paper, small boxes and frequently used supplies.

The stated shelf load capacity is 60–65 kg per shelf, depending on the selected model. That capacity makes the cabinet suitable for heavy lever arch files and reams of printer paper as well as many general workplace items. Loads should always be placed securely and within the rating of the chosen model.

With its adjustable layout, the same steel storage cabinet can serve as a filing cupboard in an archive room, an office storage cabinet for paper and supplies, or a general storage unit in a warehouse office. That flexibility is useful in shared workplaces, where the contents often change over time.

A 435 mm-deep cabinet for files and documents

The 435 mm cabinet depth is particularly useful for folders, binders and documents. It provides practical storage space without making the unit unnecessarily deep for an office or archive setting. This also makes it easier to plan a row of cabinets along a wall while keeping the surrounding floor area usable.

Choose between two cabinet heights:

• The 1040 mm-high model has 2 adjustable shelves and works well where a lower storage surface is preferred.
• The 1990 mm-high model includes 4 adjustable shelves and uses vertical space more efficiently.

Both heights are available in the listed widths of 800 or 1000 mm, so the metal storage cabinet can be matched to the available wall space and required capacity.

Lockable double doors for controlled access

Handy is a lockable steel cabinet for workplaces where documents, supplies or equipment should not be left in open storage. A turn-handle lock operates a 2-point locking system, and 2 keys are supplied. The arrangement gives authorised users simple everyday access while helping to prevent casual access by others.

Delivered fully assembled and ready to position

Handy is supplied as a fully assembled steel cabinet. There is no flat-pack frame to build or cabinet body to square up on site. Once the unit has been moved to its intended position, the adjustable feet can be used to compensate for an uneven floor and help the cabinet stand level. The back panel has fixing holes for wall attachment where extra stability is required.

Powder-coated finish and RAL colour options

The powder-coated surface gives the steel storage cabinet an even, easy-care finish. Standard stock colour is RAL 7035 grey, a neutral choice that fits naturally with office furniture, archive equipment and industrial interiors. Dust, fingerprints and everyday marks can be wiped from the coated surface during routine cleaning.
