Because the rack is single-sided, it is typically positioned along a wall. This layout helps you use the full width of the aisle while keeping the storage run tidy and easy to work around. When you need to move heavier bundles, forklift handling is also possible, so the rack fits both manual picking and day-to-day warehouse work in busy warehouses and industrial environments.

Where this cantilever rack is used

This type of cantilever racking is a proven solution wherever you store long, heavy or bulky materials that are difficult to stack safely. You will see it in construction supply, woodworking, metal stock and many general warehouses.

In the building trade and woodworking, it is used for storing timber, boards and other long construction materials in an organised way. In metalworking and engineering, it is commonly used for steel pipes, tubes and similar long items that need to be kept straight and easy to identify. Many warehouses also use a heavy duty cantilever rack for mixed long goods where the priority is fast access and a clear view of stock.

The structure is well suited to warehouses, industrial halls and other heavy-duty storage areas where high load capacity and good use of space matter every day.

This rack is specified with a 1000 mm column spacing, supporting a compact and regular storage layout for long goods. You can select the most suitable height and arm length based on what you store and how you handle it:

• Column height options: 3000, 4000 or 5000 mm. Higher columns allow you to build more storage levels and keep more product lines in the same footprint, provided your handling method and safety clearances support it.
• Cantilever arm length options: 1000 or 1200 mm. Arm length should be chosen based on the depth of your loads, while still leaving a safe margin for placement and retrieval.
• Load capacity: the load capacity per arm is 1250 kg. The maximum load per column is 5000 kg. These figures are central when planning the rack: always consider the total weight stored on one column and how the weight is distributed across the arms.
