This widespan shelving upright frame element is made to keep your shelving run straight, stable and predictable when the shelves are loaded and the pace picks up. The frame is intended for beam-based warehouse shelving and racking systems. The horizontal load beams can be mounted at the heights you choose, thanks to multiple connection points along the uprights. That gives you freedom to build a practical layout now and adjust it later without replacing the upright structure.

Warehouse shelving upright frame construction for daily use

The uprights are made of powder-coated steel in RAL 7016 (anthracite grey). Horizontal and diagonal braces in electro-galvanised steel tie the uprights together into a rigid frame. This braced structure supports the bay and helps the shelving stay square in everyday use. The upright steel thickness is 1.5 mm.

Why the upright frame is the key component

The upright frame is the backbone of the shelving run. Loads transfer from the beam levels into the uprights, and the bracing prevents the bay from flexing sideways when it is loaded. That is why the frame is not just an “end part” of the system. It is what keeps the entire row square and stable. The powder-coated finish helps protect the uprights against wear in normal indoor conditions. The galvanised bracing adds strength and durability in the parts of the frame that do most of the stiffening work.

Choosing the upright frame height and depth

This upright frame element is available in several practical sizes so you can match the shelving to your floor space and to the size of the goods you store:

• Depths: 400, 500, 600, 800 or 1000 mm

Choosing a depth is usually about two things: the footprint you can afford and the depth you actually need. Shallower frames help you keep aisles open and use floor space efficiently. Deeper frames give you more usable shelf depth for larger cartons, equipment, or bulkier items.

Adjustable beam levels on the upright frame

The upright profiles include multiple fixing points for the horizontal load beams. That means you can position beam levels at the heights you need for your products, containers, or shelf decks. If your storage changes over time, the same frame can support a revised layout without replacing the uprights.
