LE5 Parcel Scale – large platform, reliable results and connected workflows

The LE5 parcel scale is built for tasks that defeat ordinary bench scales: long brackets and rails, bulky spare parts, awkward cartons and multi‑piece consignments. With a stainless‑steel weighing platform measuring 950 × 500 mm, the LE5 accepts packages that are long, wide or irregular without compromising accuracy. The platform geometry spreads the load evenly and tolerates off‑centre placement typical of awkward items, so you get a stable reading without balancing tricks.

Clear remote display

The controller is separate from the weighing platform, which keeps the platform clear for large packages and keeps the readout where you can see it. The backlit LCD module (270 × 90 mm) shows 25 mm‑high numerals that are easy to read under warehouse lighting. Mount the controller on a wall, a post at the packing bench or place it on a desktop. The remote display puts the numbers at eye level even when a long carton overhangs the deck. Direct, glove‑friendly keys handle zeroing, tare, net/gross selection and unit switching between kilograms and pounds.

Capacity and resolution

Across the entire weighing range up to 300 kilograms, the LE5 delivers 100‑gram steps. That level of resolution fits how most freight price tables and internal handling limits are structured, and it provides a clear safety margin for weight‑critical orders without slowing the process. The scale is CE‑approved, which helps speed up documentation and calibration reporting during customer audits and supplier assessments.

Power options

Use mains power for permanent stations or run on the included 7.2 V / 0.8 Ah battery when you need mobility at a loading dock, returns area or temporary packing line. In battery mode the LE5 operates for several hours between charges; automatic power‑off extends battery life in stop‑and‑go workflows. The power supply unit is included, so installation is straightforward whether you set up a fixed or mobile weighing point.

Data moves with the parcel

Reliable data capture prevents rework. The LE5 provides a standard RS2 serial interface and includes the connection cable. Weighing results can be transferred in real time to WMS or ERP systems and to label printers. This eliminates manual keying, avoids transposition errors and lets pick lists, dispatch notes and other records update automatically as soon as items are weighed. In practice that means fewer queries at goods‑out, faster booking into carrier systems and cleaner inventory movements.
