Powder-coated steel frame and galvanised steel deck

The 400 Series platform truck is built around a blue powder-coated steel frame. In practice, that means a structure designed to handle knocks, repeated contact and the general wear that comes with busy industrial use. Powder coating also gives the surface a durable finish that supports the trolley in environments where cleanliness, day-to-day durability and a professional appearance all matter.

The deck is made from 2 mm galvanised steel sheet. That gives this single-ended platform truck a load surface intended for heavier use than lighter board-based alternatives. The steel deck helps the trolley stay dependable under load and supports long-term use where the platform sees regular contact with cartons, bins, materials and production items. The galvanised finish also adds protection in environments where moisture and routine cleaning are part of normal operation.

Stable wheel set-up for controlled movement

The wheel configuration is a familiar and effective one: two fixed castors and two swivel castors. The wheels are solid rubber, sized 200 x 50 mm. Solid rubber wheels are a reliable option for indoor transport because they are built for consistent use and dependable rolling on common industrial floors. Whether the route runs along warehouse aisles, around packing stations or between production cells, the wheel set-up supports stable movement and predictable handling.

Braked or unbraked version to match the job

The 400 Series flatbed trolley is available in both braked and unbraked versions. That allows you to match the platform truck to the way it will actually be used. In facilities where the trolley is often parked next to workstations, ramps, packing tables or loading points, the braked version gives extra control by helping keep the unit in place during loading and unloading.

Single handle design keeps access open

The handle is made from 25 mm steel tube and positioned at a height of 900 mm. That height gives the operator a practical pushing position for everyday movement, while the steel tube construction adds the strength expected from a heavy-duty platform truck. Just as important, the single-handle layout leaves the rest of the platform open. That open access is one of the main advantages of a single-ended platform truck when the load needs to be placed quickly and removed just as easily at the next stop.

Low platform height helps with loading

The platform height is 260 mm. That low deck level helps reduce how far goods need to be lifted onto the trolley, which is a real advantage when the platform truck is used repeatedly across the day.
