The 400 Series shelf trolley is a sturdy, dependable choice when parts, tools or stock need moving around a workshop, production line or warehouse. It is built to take the daily knocks of industrial work and keep going year after year.
Both shelves are made from 2 mm galvanized steel sheet, and the tubular frame is finished in blue powder coat. That combination handles point loads, oil splashes and rough treatment without showing wear quickly. Total capacity reaches 500 kg, with a generous 580 mm clearance between the two levels for bulkier items.
The trolley rolls on four 200 mm solid rubber wheels, two fixed, two swivel, for smooth movement over concrete joints and epoxy floors. A braked version is available when you need to lock it in place.

If you are tired of flimsy carts that buckle under a real load, the 400 Series shelf trolley is built for a different kind of work. This is a tool you put through its paces every day, and the materials reflect that. Quality steel, a tough finish and properly sized wheels. The trolley earns its place in workshops, production lines, maintenance bays and warehouse aisles. Total load capacity is 500 kg, which covers most reasonable jobs without leaving you guessing whether the frame can take it. Two shelves give you separate spaces for parts and tools, or for bulky stock on the bottom and lighter goods up top.
Both shelves are formed from 2 mm galvanized steel sheet. That thickness matters. A thinner panel will dent the first time someone drops a casting onto it, 2 mm steel handles point loads, dragged components and stacked metal boxes without showing it. The galvanized finish keeps rust at bay too, even when the shelves see oil splashes, coolant drips or quick temperature changes between a heated workshop and a cooler storage area.
The tubular steel frame is finished in a blue powder coat. Powder coating is more impact-resistant than wet paint and stands up much better to the everyday knocks the trolley takes against shelving uprights, pallet edges and doorframes. It also protects the steel from corrosion, which matters in damp environments or anywhere moisture builds up.
The 580 mm gap between the two shelves has been set deliberately high. You can load large machine components, drinks crates, packaging rolls or stackable containers without tilting them or fighting the upper shelf. That clearance is one of the small things that turns a frustrating trolley into a useful one. The lower deck works as solid bulk storage. The upper deck doubles as a stable working surface at a sensible height for an operator standing next to it. For workshop use, that means tools and small parts up top while the bigger workpiece travels below. For warehouse picking, more goods fit on each run, so there are fewer trips back to the racks.
The trolley rolls on four 200 mm wheels, two fixed at one end and two swivelling at the other. This is the standard layout for a shelf trolley of this size and it gives you good control: push the fixed end to keep the trolley tracking straight, lead with the swivel end when you need to turn into an aisle. Solid rubber tyres are the right choice for industrial floors. They roll smoothly over concrete expansion joints, threshold strips and epoxy coatings without juddering, and they do not pick up debris the way pneumatic tyres can. The 200 mm diameter is generous enough to ride over small obstacles like cable covers, drainage grates, the odd bit of debris on the floor. A braked version is available. Choose it if the trolley regularly parks on a sloped surface, on a loading ramp, or next to a production line where it stays stationary while operators work.
