The ESD bench top is made with a semi-conductive laminate surface for work areas where electrostatic discharge must be controlled. It is intended for ESD-protected areas, electronics assembly, testing, repair and other tasks where sensitive components are handled. When used as part of a correctly designed and grounded EPA workstation, the semi-conductive ESD laminate helps conduct static charge in a controlled way.
