In a busy repair shop, machining area or assembly cell, the workbench has to do more than provide a flat surface. It must stay stable under load, handle daily wear and keep the most important tools close enough for fast work. The Treston Workshop heavy-duty workbench with drawers is made for exactly that kind of workplace: maintenance, machining, assembly, repair bays and other demanding industrial tasks where the workstation must support both heavy work and organised storage. This version combines a steel-clad worktop with an integrated Treston 55/66-4 drawer unit. The drawer unit forms one side of the table structure, so storage is built into the workstation instead of taking extra floor area.

Steel-clad worktop for demanding workshop use

The worktop is 50 mm thick and steel-clad. That combination gives the bench a firm, practical surface for handling parts, tools and fixtures in everyday workshop work. A steel worktop is a sensible choice in workplaces where chemicals, heavy loads and repeated use are part of the job. It gives the workstation a more suitable working surface than a light table intended for ordinary office or storage use.

The workbench is supplied with fixed legs and a powder-coated steel frame in RAL 7035. The working height is 850 mm, a familiar fixed height for many workshop and assembly tasks. The total load capacity is 750 kg, so the bench can be used for heavy parts and equipment when the load is handled correctly and distributed within the stated capacity.

55/66-4 drawer unit as practical under-bench storage

A strong workbench is more useful when tools are not spread across the top. The Treston 55/66-4 drawer unit gives five drawers in different heights, making it easier to separate small parts, hand tools, measuring equipment and heavier items. The drawer unit measures 550 x 715 x 800 mm and includes central locking with a key. When tools or valuable components need to stay at the workstation but not remain open to everyone, the lockable drawer unit keeps the work area more controlled.

The drawer configuration is 2 x 50 mm, 1 x 100 mm, 1 x 150 mm and 1 x 250 mm. The two 50 mm drawers are suited to smaller items that are used often, while the deeper drawers give space for larger tools and bulkier supplies. The internal drawer dimensions are 460 x 612 x 35 / 85 / 135 / 235 mm, so the drawer heights can be matched to the actual items stored in the workstation.

Each 50 mm drawer has a load capacity of 40 kg and opens 100%. The other drawers have a load capacity of 80 kg and open 85%. This gives good access to contents while keeping a sturdy drawer structure for industrial work.

Two workbench sizes for different floor plans

The product is available in two table sizes: 1500 x 750 mm and 2000 x 750 mm. The shorter size is a compact choice when the workstation must fit into a repair bay, service corner or assembly cell with limited floor space. The wider 2000 mm version gives more surface area for fixtures, parts and tools while keeping the same basic workstation concept. Both sizes keep the same working height and core idea: a heavy-duty workbench with a steel worktop, fixed steel frame and integrated drawer storage.
