Drawer Unit 2 is made for the Handy Industrial workbench when the workstation needs practical storage directly below the worktop. In daily industrial work, the most useful tools and parts should not be stored across the room or left loose on the bench. A well-chosen workbench drawer unit keeps the working area cleaner, makes repeated tasks easier and helps each item return to the same place after use.

This model has three full-extension drawers with different drawer heights: 100, 150 and 300 mm. The layout gives the drawer unit a practical balance. The shallow 100 mm drawer is suitable for small tools, measuring items, fasteners and other low items that are used often. The 150 mm drawer gives more room for items that need a little extra height, while the 300 mm drawer is intended for larger tools, boxes, components and accessories that would otherwise take space on the worktop. Because the drawers open fully, the contents are easier to see and reach, even at the back of the drawer.

Strong under-bench storage for industrial work

The Handy Industrial workbench is a robust workbench for industrial use, and this drawer unit follows the same practical approach. The body is made from welded steel, which gives the unit a strong structure for demanding workshop, maintenance and production environments. The 29 kg weight gives the drawer unit a solid feel under the bench and suits fixed workstations where reliable everyday storage is needed.

The overall dimensions are W 520 x H 625 x D 550 mm. This size makes the drawer unit compact enough to fit neatly under the Handy Industrial workbench, while still offering useful storage volume across three drawer heights. The width of 520 mm leaves room for planning the bench layout according to the selected worktop length, and the 550 mm depth makes the drawer unit suitable for storing tools and components without making the workstation unnecessarily bulky.

The main advantage of Drawer Unit 2 is the combination of shallow, medium and deep storage. Many workstations need more than one type of storage space. Small parts disappear easily in deep drawers, while larger items do not fit well in shallow ones. With 100, 150 and 300 mm drawers, this workbench drawer unit supports a more natural order: small items in the top drawer, mid-sized items in the middle, and larger or heavier items lower down.

The Handy Industrial workbench is available with three different worktop lengths, and the number of drawer units depends on the length of the bench. A 725 mm worktop fits one drawer unit under the bench. A 1245 mm worktop fits two drawer units, and a 1765 mm worktop fits three drawer units. This makes it simple to build a workstation that matches the amount of storage needed at each work point.

Standard colours and customised colour options

The standard colours are RAL 7016 and RAL 7035. This dark grey and light grey colour combination is widely used in industrial furniture and gives the drawer unit a clean, professional appearance. The neutral colour scheme fits well with workshop interiors, production areas and maintenance spaces where the furniture must look tidy without drawing attention away from the work itself.
