Treston WB Upright Profile Set – the mounting frame for a fully equipped workbench

This Treston WB AL2X ESD upright profile set creates a strong aluminium mounting frame behind the Treston WB bench, giving workbench accessories a clear and stable place above the working area. It is a small-looking component with a large effect on the daily use of the workstation: the surface stays clearer, accessories can be positioned where the operator needs them, and the bench remains easier to adapt when the work changes. The set is intended for the Treston WB workbench range. It is used when the bench needs above-workbench accessories such as upper shelves, work lights, tool supports, tool hooks, power-related accessories, cable channels or other compatible WB accessories.

Designed for Treston WB workbenches

The Treston WB workbench is often chosen for assembly, electronics, maintenance, inspection, packing and light industrial work where the workstation must support both accuracy and good ergonomics. The upright profile set continues the same idea. It gives the bench a vertical frame that can carry the accessories needed for the task, while the main work surface remains available for parts, tools, documents and the work itself.

The product is supplied as a set. The package includes two vertical aluminium profiles, one horizontal connecting profile and three CC8 cable clips. The vertical profiles create the side supports, while the horizontal profile ties the structure together and provides an organised line above the bench. The included cable clips help route cables along the profile instead of leaving them loose behind the workstation.

Anodised aluminium profile with ESD suitability

The profiles are made from anodised aluminium. The material keeps the frame light enough to handle during installation, while still giving the workstation a rigid and professional accessory support. The anodised surface gives the aluminium a clean finish and improves surface durability in normal industrial use. This is an ESD version of the Treston WB upright profile set. It is suitable for electrostatic discharge protected workstations when installed as part of a correctly grounded ESD workstation system.

Choose the correct width for the WB bench

The width is selected according to the width of the Treston WB workbench. Choosing the right size is important because the upright profile set must match the bench module and the accessory layout planned for that workstation.

Cleaner cable management and a clearer work surface

Cables are often the first thing that makes a workstation look untidy. They also slow down work if they hang in the wrong place, get caught behind equipment or collect dust behind the bench. The three included CC8 cable clips are a simple but useful detail. They allow cables to be gathered to the profile so that power leads, lighting cables or other workstation cabling can be guided more neatly.

Built for modular workbench accessories

The main purpose of the upright profile set is to make the WB workbench easier to equip. It provides the base for compatible Treston workbench accessories and makes it possible to build the workstation in stages. A basic bench can be upgraded with lighting and cable routing first, then later with shelves, tool supports or other accessories as the work process becomes clearer.

Before ordering, check the bench width and the accessories that will be mounted to the profile set. If the bench is 1500 mm wide, choose the 1489 × 900 mm version. If the bench is 1800 mm wide, choose the 1789 × 900 mm version.
