Treston shelf bin – efficient small parts storage

These plastic shelf bins work as small parts bins for everyday storage in industrial environments, workshops, maintenance areas, stores and technical workstations. The design is simple in the right way: a strong straight-sided bin, a protected label on the front, stackable dimensions and a bottom profile that helps operators pick even small items without chasing them around the bin.

A shelf bin system for metric shelves and workstations

The Treston shelf bin range includes 11 different sizes. The bins are dimensioned for standard metric shelves, storage cabinets, paternoster systems and industrial workstations, so they can be used in new storage layouts or added to an existing shelf system.

Available dimensions and stacking logic

The depth options are 300, 400, 500 and 600 mm, and the width options are 92, 132 and 186 mm.

• The 92 mm and 186 mm wide shelf bins are 82 mm high.
• The 132 mm wide shelf bins are 100 mm high.

Because same-width bins can be stacked together, a workplace can start with the most common sizes and add more later without creating a mixed, unstable storage solution.

Wavy bottom for easier picking

Small items are often hardest to pick from a completely flat container. The wavy bottom inside the Treston shelf bin helps stop small parts from sliding freely, so individual pieces are easier to grip.

Clear labelling and colour-coded storage

Every shelf bin includes a front label protected by a cover. This matters in warehouses and workshops where labels are touched, wiped, moved and read many times a day. A protected label stays easier to read, which reduces picking mistakes and makes restocking faster. Labels can be changed when the contents change, so the same storage bin can be reused as stock needs develop. Coloured Treston shelf bins are available in blue, red and grey. Colour coding is a simple way to separate product groups, work stages, departments or priority levels.

Transparent and ESD-protected shelf bins

Transparent shelf bins are made from polystyrene (PS). They are useful when the contents need to be checked quickly without removing the bin or opening a separate container. For electronics handling and other areas where static electricity is a risk, the range also includes black ESD-protected shelf bins. These bins are made from semiconductive polypropylene (PP) and are intended for storing and handling sensitive components in ESD-controlled areas. The stated surface and volume resistance range is 10³…10⁶ Ω, and the heat resistance is -20…+70 °C.

Material options for different storage needs

Coloured shelf bins are made from polypropylene (PP), a durable plastic suited to frequent handling in industrial storage. Their heat resistance is -20…+75 °C. The material withstands oils, most acids, alkalis and solvents, making the bins a practical choice for workshops, maintenance rooms, production stores and warehouse shelves where small parts are handled every day.

Transparent shelf bins made from polystyrene (PS) have a heat resistance of -40…+55 °C. They are best chosen when visibility is the main benefit. The different material versions allow the same shelf bin system to be used across several departments while still matching the way each area works.

Cross dividers for organised small parts storage

Optional cross dividers divide the shelf bin into several compartments in the depth direction. This helps when the same bin needs to hold related items that must not be mixed, such as different screw lengths, connector sizes, washers, seals or repair kit components.

• D-10 dividers fit 3010, 4010 and 5010 shelf bins with a width of 92 mm.
• D-15 dividers fit 3015, 4015, 5015 and 6015 shelf bins with a width of 132 mm.
• D-20 dividers fit 3020, 4020, 5020 and 6020 shelf bins with a width of 186 mm.
